We also have a large selection of unique, handmade pincushions filled with real emery (not that phoney stuff the stores sell.) Come by Thursday thru Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and check out the possessions we want to transfer to you...
I firmly believe in recycling. My grandmother once told me that we go through cycles in life and what was once old will be new again. We especially see that in clothing fashions. Will we see the return of hot pants? No, but if you see the shorts girls are now wearing, looks like they are making a comeback. I don't recycle like that. Instead I look for an item that probably won't get used again and make something of it. Here of are some pictures of what I've done with my husband's ties, since he rarely wears them anymore. Let me know if you have any questions.
It was going to get trashed, so I quickly snagged it, took it home and shelved it. One day I took this cute stuffed cow along with other pretty materials and created this emery filled pin cushion. This and other items I have created can be admired or purchased at Del Paso Antiques, located at 1803 Del Paso Boulevard in Sacramento.Mina Perezhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17938032725265688158noreply@blogger.com2
